Overview

Caller → PSTN → Telnyx SIP → LiveKit SFU → Your Agent → Telnyx STT/TTS/LLM
Your agent runs on Telnyx infrastructure alongside the LiveKit SFU and Telnyx AI models. Calls arrive via Telnyx SIP, media flows through the SFU to your agent, and your agent uses colocated STT, TTS, and LLM for processing.

Components

  • LiveKit SFU — Media routing server. Handles WebRTC and SIP media.
  • LiveKit SIP — Bridges SIP calls into LiveKit rooms. On-net with Telnyx telephony.
  • Agent Runtime — Your agent code runs in managed containers with autoscaling.
  • Build Service — Builds container images from your agent code on deploy.
  • Telnyx AI — STT, TTS, and LLM inference endpoints, colocated with the platform.

Scaling

Agents autoscale based on demand. The platform manages container lifecycle, health checks, and rolling deploys.

Isolation

The platform is shared infrastructure with full resource isolation. Your rooms, agents, and data are isolated from other tenants. For dedicated resources, contact your Telnyx account team.
